My story

Meet Sadie
Sadie is a five-year old, forty pound German Shepherd-Cattle dog mix.
Sadie is very intelligent and outrageously dedicated to her people. She is very responsive to training.

She was adopted from a shelter when she was seven months old.
The family worked with a trainer and de-sensitized Sadie from the fear she sustained in the shelter. They were also respectfully aware of her triggers and did their part to avoid situations which would put Sadie on edge.

There is young baby in the house now, which is stressful for Sadie. The couple cannot keep up on the essential daily training reinforcement that Sadie needs.

Sadie can be dog selective. She will do best as an only dog. However, structured introductions to dogs, who are her own size, have been very successful. The family has found that in a "controlled situation", Sadie has a blast playing with another canine.

Sadie will benefit from a very slow transition............so that she is reassured of her safety and the predictability of her new schedule.
This girl is food motivated. Note: she loves to sneak in some counter surfing. She loves her chew toys which help her with some of her anxiety.
Sadie needs people who dog savvy are physically active. And boy oh boy........does this girl LOVE opportunities for AGILITY!
