Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Trinity is as sweet as her name is pretty. (She was named after a park where she was found cold, afraid and very alone.) Her finders were unable to locate her owners. Unable to keep her themselves, and not finding anyone they knew that could take her, we stepped in. And we are the lucky ones!
Trinity is a very quiet and affectionate puppy. She is around four months old and just over five pounds. She'll grow a little bit more but not much. This sweet girl does great in a car, in a lap, in your arms, in a crate, even on a leash (thought she's learning that it's not trying to get her when she pulls on it). She gets along great with other dogs and cats, and she even likes respectful children. Because of her small size we ask that any children in her home be old enought to be mindful of where she is and understand dog language.
If you have been looking for something tiny and sweet to add joy to your life then Trinity may be just what you are looking for. Please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website to find out how to meet and potentially adopt this sweetie.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
