Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ALEXA
Hi world, my name is Alexa (but I prefer Lexi for short). I'm a 2 year old, female, 37 pound Schnauzer mix. I get along with all dogs but I'm crazy for humans. I'm house trained, very alert, I'm working on leash training, and I don't like to mess up the house. I'm very obedient and I just want to be with my human, preferably in their lap, all the time. Hey, I know I’m borderline too heavy for laps but I’m a member of Lap Dog Rescue for a reason…I love to be in people's laps... what can I say. I can be needy with my humans (did I tell you that I'm obsessed with my humans?). I can bond with you within 5 minutes of meeting you. I love food and toys and I dream a lot when I sleep. My foster dad thinks that I dream about people. And no I'm not related to the Caveman from the Geico commercial. I might have the same hair and eyes but I'm waaay cuter. If you would like to make Alexa part of your family, please complete an online application at www.lapdogrescue.org and be sure to include her name at the top.
