My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dolly is a jolly little girl! She is a 5-year-old beagle who entered Noah's Ark Society along with another dog (Matthew). Sadly, their owner passed away and the family could not take care of them. She is incredibly affectionate and energetic. She is quite social and is good with other dogs, cats, and children. Her absolute favorite activity is going on car rides! She also likes sitting on the couch and just generally looking cute. Dolly is a bit overweight so her ideal forever home needs to be committed to a strict feeding and exercise regimen. Her ideal weight is 18 lbs, but she was 39 lbs when she came to us over Labor Day weekend. Over the following 6 weeks, she worked hard to lose 9 lbs, and she is continuing to lose more! She also has a skin condition, likely due to allergies, but after a course of antibiotics she is (slowly but surely) getting better. During the work day, it is okay to leave her home alone, and she will be sure to be excited to see you when you get home. Dolly will make the perfect companion for someone out there that needs an animal to love!
