Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stella #4 is a 1-year-old spayed female black lab. Stella weighs 38 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
Stella is a great dog, who likes your attention, had a hard time getting pictures as she wanted to crawl up in my lap and be petted. She has started to play with toys and brings them back once in a while. When you're petting her she will relax and lay down then rolls over so she can get her belly rubbed, which she will let you do as long as you want. She gets along well with other dogs. She would like an active family that has a fenced yard for her to play in and who will give her the attention, training, and exercise she needs.
Knows sit, and sometimes down. Stella is a young pup who can use some additional training so she will have a Training Addendum. Okay on lead better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained work reported as house trained. She is keeping her room clean at the kennel.
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northeast North Carolina (30 miles east of I-95 and north of the Pamlico Sound.) Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.
Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.
If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.
An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a home visit is required.
