My story

Hi, I'm Effie! I'm a 3 year old chihuahua/pug mix. I have the adorable face of a chihuahua and the body and curly tail of a pug! I came into rescue pretty overweight, so I currently weigh about 18 pounds, but with my healthy diet and daily exercise, I'm sure I'll be down to 15 pounds in no time. My foster mom describes me as an easy-going, happy girl. I love being in a routine with consistent meals, daily walks, and time to lounge on the couch or out on the sunny patio. I do great with other small dogs. I'm looking for a quiet forever home where I can get walks, lots of affection, and be included in family fun!

I'm spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. I am crate trained, house trained, and dog door trained. My adoption fee is $250. For the chance to adopt me, please complete an application at happytailsaz.org.
