Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE--Great news for both Trooper and his new dad, Michael. I know that Trooper will be very happy in his new home! Almost all of Troopers' hair has grown back in and now, it is really hard to tell by looking at him that one of his front legs is missing at all. I left one "before" picture in his profile so that all can see how far he has come! Trooper is a wonderful boy! His approximate date of birth is March '07. As a person in our community was attempting to trap feral cats for spaying/ neutering, Trooper wandered into one of the traps. His front right leg was very badly injured. We were contacted to provide assistance. We don't know how his leg became injured but the vets decided that the injury was so severe that the leg could not be saved. Trooper made it though the leg amputation surgery and is making a remarkable recovery. He is very sweet and loves everybody. He plays a little with the other cats in his foster home but mostly he is very laid back and quiet. He has already been an ambassador to children by visiting a school where he was swarmed with 60-70 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. He loved every minute of it! We believe that he would adjust easily to dogs. He loves to be petted and loved on. He likes to give head butts and loves attention! He has had a hard time but, now, he is ready to live a life of luxury with a new forever family!
