My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

 

Waylon's story starts with a concerned Fedex driver who contacted us about a neglected dog left outside with no food or water in Oak Ridge, TN.

 

We sent one of our volunteers to check up on him. She talked to the neighbor, contacted Animal Control and ultimately contacted the owner. The owner agreed to surrender the Pug to rescue.

 

Several volunteers transported him here to Memphis, where he has been neutered, brought up-to-date on his shots and moved into a great foster home.

 

He is a bit skinny, but otherwise healthy and ready for a “forever” home. He is very grateful to be living inside. Waylon is about six years old; his adoption fee is $250.
