My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammie is 5 years old.  He is a sweet pug 98% of the time.  We have been working with Sammie on that other 2%!  His issue is that he wants his own way, and when he doesn't get it, he spins and growls.  He exhibits resource guarding over toys, but is fine around food.

He is harmless, but his growling can be scary for young children.  Sammie does not like cats!  We have not been able to overcome that.  He gets along fine with most other dogs, but can be bossy with other males, puppies and smaller dogs.

Sammie is energetic and loves to go for walks.  His ideal home would be with someone who understands dog behavior, perhaps with some training experience, and lots of patience!
