Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello Dobe lovers! I’m Chase and I’m all set up and ready to join your family. I can’t count but they tell me I’m 8 months old. Anyone that knows Dobermans knows an 8-month-old puppy is just sweet, dopey, clumsy and lovable. Well that describes me to a tee! I just love everyone. I will drown you with my slurpy wet kisses, crowd you until you have no other recourse but to pet me, rub my belly and give me lots of cuddles. I’ve been told I don’t run…I gallop, but hey! I’m an active male puppy. I have things to do and places to go…really quickly. The only time I slowdown is when it’s time for bed and I’ll walk into my crate and crash hard into slumber land and replenish all my energy for the next day. Did I mention I’m up to date on all my shots, nurtured and healthy as can be? If all these things aren’t enough to convince you that I belong in your family, just take a look at my adorable, big floppy ears.
I know. I know. Every puppy has their flaws and here are mine. I’m not proud of it but I am dog selective. Not quite dog aggressive, just selective about which dogs I like and which I don’t. You never can be too careful. For example, I just adore my 3-year-old foster sister. She’s teaching me the “correct” way to behave and we run and play together. I don’t care for older dogs or little dogs when I meet them on walks or these things called “meet and greets.” If you have a dog, I’d be more than willing to meet him, or preferably her, and I’ll let you know what I think, although my perfect home would be without other dogs so I can have all the attention from my family. I’m worth taking the time for a “meet and greet” to see how it goes.
Oh yeah, I forgot. I get distracted sometimes. Again…I’m a puppy. It’s going to happen. I know my basics like sit, down, stay and come but only when nothing else is going around me. I take direction well, but I need an experienced owner who will take the time and is willing to train me how to act on a leash. I promise, I'm worth it because I am so affectionate and loving, I'll be your best friend!
