My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is an 8 yr old Bassett hound. This girl is on the small side weighing 32 lbs, but she is a little thin and working on gaining some weight. Bella loves playing and fetching toys and having fun, and is quite the snuggler. Bella is a typical hound that does chase rabbits. She is going to have a dental cleaning this week and will be ready for a home and special person to snuggle with.

$250 Adoption fee required. This covers altering, 6 in 1 series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, Parasite testing, frontline, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation. All SOAR dogs go through a ten day quarantine period to insure they are healthy, before being put up for adoption. Though if the dog is an owner turn in and has been to a vet within the last ten days they go immediately up for adoption, with a further exam at the time of altering. If for any reason the dog does not work out in your family we will take the dog back into our care at any time during the lifetime of the dog. (We require that the said do be returned to us, as per contract. Please read further details on our main page on the last section of our adoption procedure.)
