Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Foxy
Estimated age 5-6 years
Long hair Chihuahua terrier mix
10.6 pounds
Dog/puppy/cat friendly
Foxy is a shy timid little girl that needs to know that she is safe and always loved. She will need some time to adjust to her forever home but with patience she will become very attached and love you back.
Foxy has a beautiful long reddish coat with blonde highlights that is more prominent in the sunlight. She loves warm sunny days outside and is always on guard duty for any pesky squirrels.
Foxy loves to go on walks, seldom potties just loves site seeing. She has a beautiful prance to her walk, very regal.
Foxy is house broken and does an excited potty dance when she wants to go outside. (same dance when playing)
Foxy is also crate trained with no issues with being left alone for a few hours. Foxy would love a fenced in yard, due to her size you need to make sure it's escape proof as she will check!
Foxy sleeps in her foster mom's bed with her dog Sally. It took a while but now Sally and Foxy are good friends.
Foxy will be truly missed by this foster mom and will be happy for her to find the perfect family!
Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email safehavendogsIL@yahoo.com for an application or additional details.
Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
