My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CeCe just came into rescue, so we don't know alot about her yet. She does do well with cats, other dogs, and older children. It is unknown if she's housetrained at this time.
CeCe is afraid of storms, this has been determined due to all the storms lately.

CeCe weighs around 9 pounds & is thought to be around four or so years old.

Due to having treated several heartworm positive dogs recently, we DO require past proof of h/w tests & preventative given if you own a dog. We do NOT consider it proof if you have just had the h/w test done or bought preventative for the first time prior to or after putting in an application.

We do not ship our dogs. The adopter must be willing to come to the foster home and meet the dog prior to final adoption approval. We do not allow friends or family of the adopter to pick up the dog unless the adopter is with them. We will not consider an adoption out of area without a vet and groomer reference.

We do not place dogs in homes with toddlers and babies. Please read the shelter home page for placement restrictions prior to submitting an application. Our group does have a policy of only placing dogs in homes where all pets are spayed or neutered.




Our Adoption fees are based on the age of the dog and range from $350 to $200 each. Dogs up to age 2 are considered puppies. The fees are used to pay the vet and microchip expenses. All dogs are up to date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed or neutered and any known problems are treated before they can be adopted. Last year our vet bills were $3000. higher than our adoption fees, so we are not able to adopt dogs without an adoption fee
