My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, I am Max. A very handsome 5 year old yellow Lab. My dad reached out to find a good home for me as my parents were going through a divorce. My new foster mom says I am such a great boy and deserve to find a family to spoil me rotten for the rest of my years. I was recently diagnosed with Valley Fever but don’t let that scare you away. Just means I take 2 pills a day for it and will need to be monitored with a couple vet visits in the future. I get a long great with other dogs, cats, and all people. I enjoy my daily walks, nap time on the couch, playing ball, and the occasional rough housing with my foster brother pup. I take direction well. I walk well on a leash, know how to sit, and give paw. I also ride well in the car. Foster Mom says she thinks I would be great with little ones because I am so easy going and do not jump on anyone. I get free reign of the house and I always behave myself. I have discovered the pool and I am a natural in the water. My ideal home will include other dogs, children, and an active household where I will be able to be in the mix. Someone who is understanding and supportive of my valley fever condition and will be committed to my vet care.
