My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maisie is a sweet and spunky terrier mix with a velvet soft face. She's ready to cuddle with you on the couch at the end of a long day or celebrate happy days with her impressive zoomies and enthusiastic ball squeaking. Maisie loves to play with other dogs and chew on bones and squeaky toys (the louder the better!). Maisie is very food motivated and lives to please. She will go in her crate as soon as you ask and wait politely to go outside, and she just learned to give high fives! She also knows 'sit' and is working very hard on 'no'/'leave it'.

Maisie hasn't had much experience with small kids, but has loved the few we've met on walks and was very sweet to them. We're working on being calmer when seeing squirrels and other small animals on walks. Maisie has done well playing with dogs of all sizes and would love at least one dog brother or sister. She seems to be about 1.5-2 years old and weighs just over 30 pounds. She is an amazing jumper despite her petite frame and will need a yard with a taller fence or close supervision. Maisie is yearning to find her forever family where she can play and cuddle the rest of her days away!
