Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What an adorable mix of a dog Ella is. This girl is smart as all get out and has the drive of a cattle dog for sure. This little girl will fill your days and nights with fun and silly antics.
We believe she is a Jack Russell and Heeler mix and that she will be between the two in size, so not quite a small dog and not quite a medium dog. Only around three months old this little girl is all she should be for her age. She is working on great manners when playing with children and people, but she'll need continued guidance on this as she truly wants to herd anything that runs - adorable if you know the breeds but not so much if you're not used to dags.
If you are looking for some entertaining companionship that comes in a perfectly-sized package then perhaps Ella is the dog for you. Please read on or go to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - to find out how to meet her.
All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
