My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heidi is a rottweiler mix that has a puppy like attitude. Heidi is going thru heartworm treatment currently, but would love to meet and bond with her forever family. Her spay and her remaining treatment is of course paid for by the rescue. Heidi lives with a bunny and does very well. The bunny can hop around and she is very gentle and kind. She will bond very quickly to a leader that shows her love and makes her feel secure. She is VERY alert and is an excellent watch dog. Being part Rottie, her bark sounds like she weighs 150 pounds, but she currently tips the scales at 49 lbs. Heidi was likely not treated well prior to coming into rescue and she was found with various open wouinds. Because of this, we prefer kids in home to be 10 or older. She can be fearful of the little ones and their quick movements.

She is VERY food motivated, smart and easy to train with a desire to please.

Heidi is crate trained.
Potty trained.
Walks well on a leash (once the excitement of a new environment wears off)
Heels off leash in home.
Spins both ways.
Plays peek a boo
Sits and stays.
Will "leave it"

Rolls over.
Plays dead.
Will go around items when told.
