Pickles CAN BE SEEN SAT. OCT. 27, FROM 12:00-4:00 AT THE ELLISVILLE, MO PETCO STORE. Pickles and his littermates came to us from a high kill shelter in a rural area. They were born on 7-27-18. They were turned in to the shelter with their mom, but it wasn't until a day or so later when they realized that mom wasn't making milk. A kindly volunteer attempted to bottle feed the kittens but due to his work schedule it wasn't working. When we accepted the kittens they were terribly emaciated. They were unable to suck from a bottle, so we put drops of formula in their mouths...within a day or so all 4 kittens were drinking from a bottle and plumping up nicely. They have had two of their vaccinations, a clean fecal, negative combo test, and have been treated to get rid of any intestinal parasites and to prevent fleas. They are robust, friendly, curious, and loving kittens. The kittens are rather small for their age, but they can be pre-adopted until they weigh 3#.
