Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sable ~ Female ~Black Domestic ~ Estimated DOB: 12/15/2017
(8 months old as of 8/15/2018)
Sable was found on Washington Street in Central Falls and taken to our veterinarian for a health check. At that time she was discovered to be FIV+ When a cat tests positive for FIV, it means they either carry the virus or have been vaccinated against it at some point (which causes them to test positive for the disease). FIV is not spread through casual contact such as shared food/water/litter, mutual grooming, or playing. It is most commonly spread through deep, vicious bite wounds typically inflicted by intact toms fighting on the streets over food, females, or territory. FIV+ cats can live as long and healthy a life as non-infected cats. This doesn’t mean they will never become ill; they are, after all immunocompromised, so illnesses can be easier to catch and harder to fight off. They have the same needs as any other cat: high quality nutrition, a clean, stress-free, strictly indoor environment, regular veterinary visits (ideally, two times per year), and lots of love. If they should become ill, they are generally treated earlier, for a longer duration, and more aggressively than non-immunocompromised cats (meaning they need to see the vet at the very first sign of illness and may be on a stronger medication or on medication for a longer period of time). .Sable is a very happy and healthy girl who loves playing with her catnip toys. She would love a home of her own.
Our adoptions run as follows: When someone shows an interest in one of our pets we respond with an email with an attached application. One your application is emailed back to us, and a background check is completed, a meeting with the animal goes forward. We are a rescue group which means all of our cats/kittens are technically in foster care. We are not set up for drop in visits. All of our contact is done through e-mails until you are called by David who is the gentleman that reviews all of our applicants. Dave is the one with all of the background information on the cats/kittens. Our adoption fee is $150.00 per pet. All of our cats/kittens are fully vetted, current on all shots, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before heading home.
P.S.: Our ACO is not involved with any of the cat/kitten placement procedures so please do not contact her for assistance. You will simply be sent back to us. Thank you!!!
