My story

Hello! Hi! Hey there! I’m so happy to see you! I’m a 3-year-old, tabby-and-white little girl named Cleo, but they should have named me Shadow because I will follow you everywhere. Especially if you’re heading to the kitchen, because I’m starving to death and I really, really hope you’ll feed me. Even if you just did. I was found as a stray and brought to a local shelter, so food and a nice warm home are at the top of my wish list!

Aside from being very companionable, I’m also talkative. When I’m not purring or meowing, I’m making a comfortable sound somewhere in between. I usually only meow when you’re on the other side of the door from me, or when you’ve been away for a while and I want to tell you everything that happened while you were gone. I also meow when I think you’re going to feed me, which I hope is all the time.

They tell me that I’m 3, but I’m very much in touch with my inner kitten. I have lots of energy and I love to run and jump and play, starting early in the morning. (I get a little carried away sometimes and nip, but I know to stop when you say “Ow!”) I can entertain myself by playing with my toy mousie; don’t be surprised if you find it in a weird place, since I carry it around sometimes. I also like playing with the stick toys, but my favorite game is chasing the red dot. I know I’ll catch it one of these days! And then when I get tired, I like to curl up right next to you for a little nap. Sound like a plan? Come on over and scoop me up!
