Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buffy, a 10 year old senior is looking for a quiet home possible with a retired couple. She likes to lay around in her dog bed and take naps. She does like to follow you to the kitchen thinking she will get food scraps. NO! Not good. She does fine eating canned food since she had some teeth pulled during her dental. She is only 7 pounds so doesn't take up much room and is easy to carry. This poor dog had suffered with a very bad infection but has been treated and doing very well now. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention, current on all her vaccines and her senior panel blood work came back surprisingly good!
Save1Pet was contacted to help this senior dog since she wasn't eating at the local shelter so we took her to the vet. Blood work, needed a dental badly, got fluids and antibiotics. They did emergency surgery for a possible pyometra (an infected uterus) the next day after keeping her overnight. It turned out she didn’t have a uterus, she was already spayed. Buffy did have a terrible infection and was on antibiotics.
Help her find a loving home.
Her adoption fee is only $120. Her vet bill was $256 but she's worth it.
