Wanna' PLAY?! My name is Max and I am a really great little boy!! I was born last year (2017) and I weigh 10 pounds. My non-shedding high maintenance coat is a soft handsome light apricot and I have a long waggy tail. I am a Poodle mixed with Yorkie! I am very friendly and love to play and chase and run and jump and BARK!! I have a LOT of energy and I am always excited about EVERYTHING!! My owner relinquished me to animal control (I don’t know why) and they called STRAES. I arrived at the Safehouse on 08/29/2018. It is nice here; I have a really neat bed of my very own (sometimes I share it with one of the "guys") and lots of squeaky toys, bouncy balls to fetch and doggy friends to play with. I am looking for an active athletic forever family with a home and yard of my very own or one I could share with another friendly little dog. I love to chase critters and promise to keep the yard free of squirrels and bunnies but you will need a solid fence to keep me safe and at home. Although I do not relish playtimes with little children, I could be a great friend for older respectful kids since I thrive on outdoor fun, shared play and adventures. I try to be a good boy except, sometimes, I get excited and forget. I am learning to use the doggy door and to potty outside but you would have to be very patient with me ‘cause I will need some help when I come to live with you. I like to cuddle but it is difficult for me to hold still, after all, there is a great big world to explore and I don't want to miss anything!!! I have much too much energy and curiosity to be left home alone for extended periods of time. I don’t like crates but I can manage confinement in a small room or area; although, sometimes, I do get the zoomies and then I fly around the house for the fun of it!! I am healthy and neutered, I have a microchip, I’m current on all vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and I’ve even had a complete physical and dental. My adoption fee is $400. .
