Mona Is Running Out Of Time...
Please help to keep her from going to the shelter...

This beautiful, 3 year old, girl was rescued from an abusive situation by a wonderful guy who took her in. Mona was undernourished, filled with worms, covered with cuts and definitely had at least one litter. He vetted her and nursed Mona back to health. He was only holding her temporarily while he worked upstate but recently came back home to Long Island with her. His family have their own 3 dogs and Mona is great with their male Border collie but does not get along with the other 2 dogs. They have been managing to keep them separate but it's becoming impossible to manage. Mona spends most of her time in the garage and its's no life for her.

Mona absolutely loves all people and is a true lap dog. She loves to play and has a medium energy level. She is smart and learns quickly. Mona is dog selective and will do best with males her size or larger. She has had 2 male dog friends who she has gotten along great with. A Meet and Greet is a must.
