Tawny is one of "The Five Sisters" -- a charming, delicate, beautiful, endearing group of orphaned female puppies that came under our rescue from a kill shelter.
Everywhere we would take them people would stop and marvel at this group, where each sister boasted unique coloring and markings.. At the vet's office staff would stop and snap the sisters' photos. Sweet and thoughtful to the core each and every one.
The Five Sisters -- Brindie, Geneva, Tawny, Snowdrift and Gwendolyn -- have been actively socalized to include not reacting to fireworks, thunderstorms, people of all ages and sizes, swimming pool, sirens, bicycles, motorcycles, etc. And we had a blast doing it with them! They are special, special girls.
Our requirements for our puppies include a stay and home or work from home adopter who has the time to provide a puppy's need for engagement and stimulation.
High quality food is the key to a long life and a healthy life. All our dogs are fed top quality, grain-free foods. We rotate manufacturers since a dog's natural biologial need is variety, so as not to become dependent on one food. No one dog food has it all.
Dry kibble is dehydrated. We hydrate the dry kibble in water hours before serving, to mitigate dehydration within the dog's system. All our dogs are given a raw egg and raw beef as well in the morning, fresh vegetables as a snack in the evening after dinner.
