Hi People!
My name is Joyful Jackson and my Mom says I’m a perfectly adorable bichon boy. She says I’m a sweet, loving and mellow bichon boy of 13 or 14 (but act like I’m half that age!), weighing all of 11.6 pounds, and that I’m just as affectionate as I can be. (You see I have already worked my charm on her – and I wasn’t even trying very hard!)

When I came to Mom’s house, I was a little afraid. You see my Dad died, my human brother went off to college and my other Mom had to work two jobs! Life became very challenging and sad for all of us– and I didn’t know if anyone would love and take care of me like my Dad did. My new Mom says, however, that I’m very easy to love!

Mom says to tell you that I’m sweet, alert and affectionate. I’m great with big dogs ((there’s one in my foster home) and pups my own size! I walk gently on a leash, know my name, rarely bark at strangers, am friendly and intuitive. I seem to know what people want and am happy to give that to them.

I like my walks and rides in the car ! I’ve really missed them a lot when my previous Mom had to work two jobs. She knew I had a lot of spirit and spunk and that it wasn’t fair for me to be confined to a house all the time. Mom says I would never complain – but she knew I needed to be in a home where I could do the things we used to do together. So I became a furkid and now I get to do all those things again! Lucky me!

Mom says I am eager to please, mellow, very smart and a master cuddle bug. I love to snuggle in my doggy bed or on the couch.
