My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TRIKE is a 2 year old, 10 lb., neutered male, Chihuahua mix. He was rescued from a Houston Shelter minutes before euthanized. It is believed he was hit by a car on 9/14/18 and sustained injuries that resulted in the loss of his left rear leg.

Being a tripod (3 legged) has not stopped him from running, going down stairs and playing. He does have some difficulty in trying to manuver some tasks, like jumping on couch. But in time, he will figure that out. He is a little lover and cute as a button. He gets along with other dogs and cats. Sleeps in a crate. Current on all vaccinations.

Trike's previous owner had him for over a month when he injured his leg. The owner applied a tightly wrapped homemade cst. Upon removing the cast, the leg was very infected and flattened. The owner did not seek veterinary treatment resulting in amputation.
