My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trixie is an extremely loving dog that ART rescued out of a very difficult situation along with her littermate and bonded sister, Jade, and senior pug Phil (Phil is adopted). They had been loved family dogs until the opiod crisis hit their home. They were surrendered to us in terrible condition and we immediately got to work on their recovery bathing all three and trimming their overgrown nails. They saw our veterinarian the next day. It's a sad form of abuse to allow your chihuahua to reach 25 lbs! Trixie has successfully 1/4 of her body weight and is working hard to lose more. She loves walks and can now chase after squirrels. She's fast!! She is a very lovable and playful girl. She and her sister Jade play and snuggle all day. Trixie is one big love bug! We recently had her groomed so she's extra fluffy and soft.
