Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Achilles is ready for a furever home! He is being fostered in Houston. He is a 3-year old, 80 lb, Velcro, stunning amber-eyed, red-tri Aussie / Collie / wiggle-butt mix of love!
He is housebroken. Has been left with run of the house for 7 hours with no accidents or destruction. He is calm indoors and out.
Achilles is HW-, vetted, up-to-date on preventives, neutered and chipped. He needs a little work walking on a loose lead - but has significantly improved with his new harness. He is non-reactive to other dogs when walking. He is fairly quiet, barks very little.
He sleeps quietly in a crate at night, and is fed in a crate. He eats from a puzzle bowl. He is not happy to be crated when people are around - he wants to be with you! About once a day he forgets his size and jumps up to get a hug.
His extra large plastic travel crate and puzzle bowl will go with him to his new home.
Achilles responds well to positive training methods. He thrives with one-on-one attention! He could be an only dog, or he would do well with one 50+ lb submissive female. He would not do well with male dogs or small dogs. His strong interest in squirrels means no cats.
Achilles is a Velcro boy, he wants to be at your feet or sitting by you with his head in your lap. He is a big boy that needs attention more than exercise. A leisurely walk around the block, and a few ball throws, is all the exercise he asks of you. But if you want a jogging buddy, he could do that. If you want a couch potato to watch the game, or Netflix and chill with, he is definitely in!
He likes people, but his size means they shouldn’t be younger than 10. He does well with vet and groomer. He loves being brushed. He flips over for belly rubs. He is totally ready to be someone’s Velcro boy!
It has been very entertaining to try and guess his mix. So a DNA test has been ordered, and the results will be shared with his furever owner once they come in.
