Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Anya is a very small (14.7) lb beagle. Vet estimates she is 2 to 3 years old. When found she had recently had a litter. She is now spayed, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations.
She is currently in a foster home with other dogs. Foster family is currently working with her or potty training and she is coming along nicely. She does fine in a crate (will cry for about 5 minutes, then settles down). Sleeping at night in the bed with foster parents and will sleep all night without needing to go out.
Anya is a climber so will need a secure tall fence or be leash walked.
She has not been tested with cats yet.
Anya is somewhat shy and tends to cower a little when you bend down to pick her up but warms up quickly. Because of this kids in the household need to be at least 12 years old and understand patience. If you are on the couch, she will be up there with you to cuddle.
Approved application and $225 adoption fee will apply.
Contact Pam Danford @ 804-229-4043 with questions or to request an adoption application.
