Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dale is our 4 month old Golden mix puppy. He weighs 18 lbs. now so we think he will be a medium size dog when grown. Dale's mom is 36 lbs and is the one on the leash in the last photo.
Dale gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Dale is your guy.
He loves to snuggle and just be with you, and LOVES to give kisses. Very affectionate.
Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! His coat is a gorgeous red color. The foster family is working on his potty training but he is 90% there already.
If you are interested in giving Dale a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org
You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.
Dale’s adoption donation is $525 which helps to cover his neutering, puppy shots, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
ALL OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE
Dale is currently fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new family once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast. Pick up is available every Saturday in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, VT. We use PETS, LLC if you would like to check them out. www.petsllc.net
The dogs adopted to Chicago are picked up once a month in Tinley Park.
The next pick up date is Sunday, Oct 7, 2018.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
