Meet ATARI - a registered Polish Arab! Atari is 20 years old, stands around 15 hands and has supposedly have been shown in dressage and possibly as a halter horse! He is well behaved, leads well and has tons of potential! Atari spent 30 days at a trainer's facility for a refresher and he had a great refresher course! He will need an experienced rider who knows and loves and understands Arabians. Atari is being ridden several times a week to keep him in shape He is not a poke-along the trail type horse - he is ready to explore!
Atari had been living in a pasture with no shelter for years at a reprocessed mansion. His owner fed him round bales until he ran out of hay in January 2018, then the neighbors would bring Atari hay to keep him alive. The owner wouldn't sell Atari but SHARE sweet-talked the owner in giving him up to SHARE to find him a new home. Watch for updates on our Facebook page - Society for Hooved Animals' Rescue and Emergency, Champaign County.
