Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Forrest. He is a 8 pound 1-year-old Chiweenie. Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He is good with other dogs and learning the wee pads. He likes to be held and is the ultimate lap dog. He has one missing eye and we have been told it was scratched out by a cat. For this reason, we know he is afraid of cats and would be best in a home without them. He will do best in a quiet and gentle home that will use a soft touch with him. He prefers females over males but warms slowly to a gentle kind male. He isn’t too vocal in his foster home and does great in his crate. He is a loyal boy and bonds deeply to his human. He would do best in a home with older children or no children as lots of commotion scares him. That being said, he is an AMAZING dog and will be a great companion for a retired couple or single person looking for a dog to share your time with. He does fine when his foster mom goes to work and will be fine with other dogs or as an only dog. He is lower on the shed scale and healthy. He can be adopted locally or transported to the East or the West Coast. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185.
