My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nala! She is a 7-year-old, super-friendly and energetic Samoyed. She currently weighs about 60lbs and doesn't have any health issues that we know of. She is an inside dog and kennel trained (she sleeps in it). She likes to run outside on a runner.

We brought Nala home with us in 2013 from a family that had recently had a baby and couldn't give Nala the attention that she deserved. I'm allergic to dogs and supposedly Samoyeds are hypo-allergenic, but it turns out that I am allergic to her and she's slowly ended up staying outside more. We feel like she just isn't getting the attention that she deserves from us. So that is why we are trying to find her a new family that will have her inside all the time and spends more time with her.

She likes any kind of attention that she can get, especially tug-of-war with her big rope. Being a Samoyed, she needs her hair brushed often to remove dead hairs, and she should never ever be shaved, even in the summer. Apply to adopt to meet Nala!
