My story

Everyone please say hello to this stunning, special girl, Isabella. Izzy is a sweet dutch shepherd mix looking for a very specific home. She is around 11 months and has a wonderful personality, she’s also petite which is really in her favor.

Unfortunately, Izzy has hip dysplasia in both hips. She has two options, a surgery that may or may not work, or pain medication when her inevitable arthritis kicks in. Because of her love for life and willingness to play, after MANY talks with multiple doctors, we have decided to go against surgery for now. She is a happy girl that just wants to play, but needs a lot of time to rest. Her adopters are of course free to choose which option you and your vet think is best.

We will be a picky with choosing her new home, we of course want what is best for her. She is good with other dogs and kids! We think a family that is a little less active, preferably with a house without a lot of stairs, and maybe a small/medium size dog to play with would be perfect. She is house trained and crate trained. Her foster momma is a trainer so she’s also learning some basic commands- she’s smart!
Her adoption fee is $250 to cover her spay, microchip and up to date on current vaccines. Of course her new family can also get copies of the Xrays that we had done as well.
