Here's what the humans have to say about me:
”Duke is a man’s man. Although he’s 10, he still has a lot of spunk and enjoys having a playful good time. If there was such a thing as man’s best friend, Duke is surely it. He is crate trained but prefers lounging around the house while we are gone. Given his age we let him sleep in his own bed in our bedroom. He’s a great boy who wasn’t given a fair chance by his previous family of 10 years and just wants to be loved for the rest of his golden years.”
- Jamie, Duke’s foster
Duke is a handsome 10 year old, 63 lb. brindle & white pit bull. He came to us from Orange County Animal Shelter on 9/13/18. He was an owner surrender and was dumped at the shelter after 10 loyal years with his family. When he was pulled from the shelter, Duke was hours away from being euthanized. His only crime was being loyal to his family.
Duke is up to date on all of his shots and other vetting, neutered, and microchipped. He is a snuggly guy who enjoys lounging around and enjoying the simple things in life like naps and a tasty treats. He is dog and cat friendly although can be testy with certain dogs, so a meet and greet is highly suggested. Duke is potty and crate trained but shows some separation anxiety when left alone in the crate. He shows a preference for men and would love to just hang out and be “one of the guys.” He would like to spend his senior years with a warm bed, a full belly and a loving family.
To adopt Duke, please fill out an adoption application at www.EndlessPawsibilitiesAnimalRescue.org/adoption-application.html. Our adoption process includes verification of submitted information, in-person meet and greet with the animal and the applicant's other pets (if applicable), and mandatory home check.
