This handsome face belongs to Murray, a 1 year old Shepherd mix. Murray is from friendly Manitoba and was flown over into our care when he no longer had a family or a home. Murray was emaciated and in need of medical care and is now a gorgeous, smoochy dog with a big smile and loving eyes. He's great with new people once he has had a chance to sniff them over. He is looking for someone who understands that at some point in his life he didn't have anything, so he wants lots of love and affection and gets pushy if he sees one of the other dogs getting love and not him. Murray loves to run, so if you’re looking for a jogging companion or someone to take long walks or if you can lob a tennis ball, you'll have a friend for life. He does need a fenced in yard, but his long legs and slender build make Murray a very good looking boy. Murray is a goofy bundle of enthusiasm and needs to join a family with adults or older children and no cats. He’s also very loyal and will want to spend time lounging around the house with his new people. Murray has really good recall when there are no squirrels in view and he gives a good sit on command, he is very eager to please.
