Meet Chandler! He is a dream dog – so sweet! He was born around September 2015. He is skinny right now at 76 pounds, and will likely be about 95 pounds when he reaches his ideal weight.

Chandler is everything you want a Pyr to be - loving, sweet, cuddly, laid back, yet playful and a little funny! He is very affectionate, and he is great with kids. He likes to give kisses and get attention. He’s not too active with the Pyr Paw and he doesn’t jump on people. He likes to get up on the furniture with you to cuddle. He’ll even crawl onto your lap!

Chandler is super playful, and he absolutely needs another dog to play with in his forever home. He gets along with all sizes of canines. He plays all day and into the night with the 19-month old Pyr mix in his foster home. If a dog tries to fight with him, he chooses to just walk away and not engage in any violence. He even loves giving baths to other dogs! He’ll insist they lie still while he cleans them enthusiastically.

He walks great on a leash, rides well in the car, and is crate trained. He is very quiet and rarely barks. He willingly stays contained behind the four-foot fence at his foster home. He is even nice to cats!

He is a terrific dog that is ready to bring joy into his forever home.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
