Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Kiki (HWTH#13127B). She is a Shepherd/Husky mix, DOB: 11/1/11. Kiki weighs approximately 80-85 pounds and stands 24 inches at the shoulders. She and her companion dog Brody have been relinquished to Halfway to Home because there has been a death in the family and the other family members are unable to care for the dogs. Kiki is a loving, high-energy girl full of life and will need an active owner willing to share their life with an active dog. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, structure, playtime (she likes soft toys and balls) as well as regular daily exercise will be a must for this loving girl. When Kiki has thoroughly settled into her new Forever home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training, other obedience commands as well as the bonding process. Once Kiki has bonded with her new owner, she will make a loyal canine companion. The relinquish sheet for both dogs state they are good with kids, cats and other dogs. Kiki is crate trained. For more information on Kiki, please call Sandy at tele # 661-824-4495.
