Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Casper is the ultimate lap dog! He loves to lounge about on a snugly blanket or fluffy pillow. He doesn't need a lot of exercise but he does enjoy a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood every day. He's a good boy who has given our family 11 years of love and affection. We adopted him from the breeder when he was four months old. He's a great hunter, as all dachshunds are, and loves to sniff around the yard and chase squirrels! His favorite teams are Penn State, where his siblings went, and of course, the Philadelphia Eagles!
He never begs, but he'll stand by you when you're working in the kitchen....just in case you want to share! (Carrots are his fav.)
Casper weighs 15 pounds and is easy to care for. He eats a modest diet of dry food mixed with a bit of canned pumpkin and whatever chopped veggies we have in the fridge. All he wants is a little affection and a fluffy place to rest his head. This is the perfect pet for a loving human looking for a cute little snuggle-buddy.
