Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MAGGIE MAE (ARKANSAS)
AR Maggie Mae is a soon to be 8-year-old, 12.5-pound Yorkie Princess being fostered in Bryant, AR.
Well UYR fans, it's almost Halloween and look who just hopped into Arkansas! By the look of those adorable ears, we'd might think this is the Easter Bunny arriving a bit early/late this year. But no..... it’s just our adorable (and little bit chubby) Maggie Mae! Maggie will celebrate her 8th birthday on 10/15 and she is such a sweet girl. Maggie Mae has had a single owner ever since she was purchased as a puppy from a pet store. Her owner has to move across country to care for an aging family member and the residence does not allow pets at all so UYR was contacted to find Maggie Mae a perfect forever home.
Maggie is a very well-behaved, sweet and compliant girl. She is used to being an only dog, so she is trying to find her "place" in her foster home pack. She wasn't on the healthiest diet before her rescue which has led to her being a couple of pounds over her ideal body weight. But she is being gradually switched to a healthier diet and increasing her activity and is planning to be in her "skinny jeans" by Thanksgiving if not sooner! Maggie Mae is obedience trained, loves to play fetch and has the most adorable face and expressions! She loves being a "couch dog" and being close to her person whether it is to cuddle or play.
Maggie developed problems with "dribble" early on in her life. She takes a medication called Proin twice daily that really helps with that. She has been on this since she was three years old. Any potential owners need to know that Maggie Mae will need to be on this medication twice daily for the rest of her life.
Maggie has just arrived in rescue, so we are just getting to know her. She will see the Doctor soon to make sure she is in tip top shape and also get all of her annual care and a full physical exam including blood work. If you think you might be this sweet girls PAWFECT PERSON, then go ahead and complete and application to adopt or email foster Mom at uyrARFostermom@yahoo.com
