OPHELIA and her brother was rescued from a local shelter when they were just a couple weeks old. Unfortunately, most unweaned kittens that end up at the shelters are the first to be euthanized because the shelters don't have the resources to bottle feed them 24/7. The only way for them to make it out of the shelter is for a rescue group to take them. The shelter volunteer sent out a plea to the rescue groups and fortunately, we had a nursing mom that had just weaned her kittens. It's always a risk introducing new kittens to a nursing mom, but she accepted them as her own took great care of them.
OPHELIA is a great little kitten, both playful and purry. She loves to play either with feather toys or with the other kittens in her foster home. She must go to a home with another animal so that she has a playmate. . Please consider giving this great girl a home she deserves.
