Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please say hello to Bones. Bones is around 3 yrs old and full of fun!!!! He is very puppyish and loves to play with his person(s)!!!
LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL ADOPTER:
Mr. Bones wasn't socialized well so he can be wary of people he doesn't know that are entering his home. We are working with him and he is growing leaps & bounds!!! He is learning to trust people and responds well to "dog people". He walks well on a lead after that initial excitement passes! We do not think he had many toys but he is learning to play! He was abused by allowing kids to pull on his face, so kids are not his favorite people at this time! NO small children. He does LOVE animal cookies from Costco!!!
We wanted to see if there is someone "very special" who has the love & time to work with him. Because he can be fearful, he has the propensity to bite as does any dog. Things with him are done slow & easy. He accepted the photographer who took his pix after some time & ran around the yard showing off!!! Well a handful of animal cookies helped too! lol
Bones loves our Alliance Director and she can do anything with him! For now, no other pets even though down the line, a F companion dog might be a reasonable choice for him. The Director says he's a big goofball and loves to play and just be silly! Someone who has a good sense of these giants would be a good choice as a new parent.
To meet this handsome guy, please contact the Alliance. A home check and meet & greet with all family members is required (2 &/or 4 legged). There is an adoption contract and an adoption fee of $450. Contact the rescue at: 623 869-0409 Dane Line
Please help with his care while he is in rescue by visiting: greatdanerescueofazalliance.com and clicking DONATE NOW. Thank you for caring!
