Meet Liberty, 4 month old 4 lbs Breiwer Yorkie puppy, that was owner surrendered by the breeder at the Los Angeles East Valley Shelter. Saving K9 Lives Plus was contacted and given 30 minutes to get her before they were going to euthanized her.
Liberty is a special little puppy. She cannot walk straight as she has neurological problems. Bloodwork with Bile testing and Full Xrays of body/ skull were done. Liberty saw the internal specialist at Access Speciality Hospital. Liberty did not have Liver Shunts as diagnosed by the vet. Liberty saw the Neurologist and does NOT have AA Luxation or Distemper.
After caring for Liberty for 6 weeks, We have found a smart puppy locked in a body. She gets angry when she cannot control her moments. Liberty has Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Liberty needs a home that can give her full time care. She sleeps in a baby pen to protect her head as she cannot move around without stumbling. Liberty's adoption include her medical care. We are screening for the best home for Liberty as she needs constant care. LIBERTY NEEDS FULL TIME CARE! NO DRY DOG FOOD AS SHE IS ON A SPECIAL DIET! PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE RESCUE!!
If you are interested in Liberty, please fill out an application on our website: www.savingk9livesplus.org Additional information on our website and rescue Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/savingk9lives
