Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Belle is a sweet girl who is shy upon first meeting. She was left abandoned in the woods and wandered to the one home that was near that would give her some food. She had a litter of pups but with her being scared and cold out in the woods only 2 of the pups survived. Her 2 babies are now in excellent furever homes. Belle has really started to come out of her shell since being here with us. We do have a crate with a bed in the back bedroom that she retreats to to sleep but we never actually close the door on the crate, During the day when someone is here she has full access to the house but at night we do close the bedroom door but not the actual crate. She has never had an accident in the house or been destructive. She did once chew a empty bag of dog food that I had mistakenly left sitting but has never offered to chew anything else other than what is given to her. She loves the other dogs here in our home. Belle still needs some leash training and basic obedience such as sit.stay etc.. Belle MUST have a home with a fenced in yard. She is still not totally comfortable with new people surroundings and becomes spooked at times and I do not believe she would easily come when called. I think in time Belle will overcome these fears she just needs a family with patience and understanding to allow her the time to do so. Belle will be spayed prior to going to her forever home. We will ask for a pre-adoption application to be completed prior to being considered for Belle to be placed in her new home and we also do vet checks and reserve the right for a home visit to be completed prior to finalizing the adoption. Belle has thus far received her vaccines including a 1 year rabies-fecal check(deworming)-Heart worm test(negative)-and on monthly preventative since in our home and tested. As noted above will be spayed prior to leaving. We do not have cats in our home and have not had Belle around any cats since being with us so I can not honestly say how she would do with cats. So would prefer a home with no cats and also no small children due to her being somewhat scared still. Please feel free to email me with any further questions.
