ADOPTION PENDING

Lulu is a 7 year old black female with natural ears who came to MAGDRL after being dropped off at a shelter. Update 11/6/18 - Lulu's tail is healed and she is feeling a lot more relaxed now that she is in a quieter environment outside of the city. Lulu had a hard time with buses, sirens, and general city noise so a family in a quiet environment is a must for her. Lulu has gotten along with every dog she has met (from Chihuahua to Great Dane) although she did not like it when the larger male Dane in her first foster home played rough with the other adult Dane. Her current foster is working with her to build some confidence. We believe Lulu has had some trauma in her background and although she wants nothing more than to be next to (preferably touching!) her person, she shows signs of fear when she thinks she is in trouble. Her foster is working with her to build confidence and its working - Lulu has been galloping around the yard and rolling around in the grass which are signs of being relaxed and comfortable! She is a very sweet dog with a good amount of energy left who will make a great companion for medium-energy home either as an only dog or with another calm dog.
