My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amber is about 6 years old. She was evidently used as a breeding dog, either in a puppy mill or by a very heartless individual who bred her unceasingly and did not take care of her at all. She was dumped in a parking lot, ill, frightened and frantic. She was brought to animal control, rescued by us, treated for heartworms and had dental work done. She is currently being fostered and is well on her way to becoming a different dog, one with hope and trust in humans. She greets her foster mom at the door in the evening and gets along with two other dogs, holding her own despite her minute size. Amber needs a quiet home, preferably with a single adult or an adult couple who can dote on her and bring a sparkle back into those eyes.
