Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oh My Gosh, you have to meet Brayley! He's a 3 year old, Shepherd/Shar Pei mix who was surrendered due to a family move. He's lived with kids ages 7 & 8 and did great but younger and energetic kids make him nervous. He is friendly with other dogs and loves, like really loves, people. He's housetrained and doesn't mind being crated but is clever and can break out of certain crates. Fortunately, he isn't destructive and will just crawl into bed and sleep when home alone.
Brayley is playful but also loves being lazy with his humans. He is a superstar cuddler and sleeps in bed with his foster parents. Warning: he snores and drools! He also can be a giant baby, so if something scares him, make room on your lap because Brayley's going plant himself there. All he wants is a few pats, a hug, and reassurance that everything is okay.
His foster family says his best qualities are loyalty and making them laugh.
Brayley is a great boy to join a family!
Adoption fee is $350.00 (no checks)
Foster to contact: Tracy at 612-750-7411 or tschlax@gmail.com
Braylee gets really stressed out at the adoption events, so please contact his foster to learn more about him and meet him.
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment are likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
