My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My rescue mama says that I am a very sweet girl. I love human attention and cuddling. I get along very well with other pups and I may like cats but I've not been around them a lot. I love treats but I am still trying to be gentle when I take them. I love kids too but my mama thinks I would do best with older kiddos. She's been working with me on my SIT and I do it right away when she says it but sometimes I get really excited and jump or use my paw and mama says that could maybe not be good with little ones.

I wouldn't hurt a flea. I came from Louisiana and my owner didn't want me anymore. I was kept outside a lot and I got heartworm. The rescue was going to euthanize me whatever that means...my rescue mama says that it's doggie heaven. I'm glad my rescue mama saved me because I have SO much love to give. I am a little anxious because I was neglected and mistreated and I just want love and to please. I bark when people come to my house but mama just puts me away first and them when I'm quiet I get to come out and meet our guests. I am a very good girl in the house andI don't need a crate. I am a very devoted girl. I would like a doggy friend but I would also do okay without one if I can get a lot of attention. I would do well with someone that liked to hike or go places...maybe even a jogger. Can you open your heart and home to me?
