Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET BISCUIT! He is a 6 year old handsome Yorkshire terrier who weighs a chunky 19.1 lbs. Biscuit is being fostered in Freeport, FL.
UPDATED BIO 09/20/2018: Biscuit has had quite an interesting life – prior being adopted by his surrendering owner, he was living in a car for many months with someone who was obviously unable to care for him.
Biscuit has settled into his foster home and is enjoying life with five dogs and two senior humans. He has a fenced yard that he is able to play in and is working at losing some of his chubby weight. He now weighs 19.1 lbs and is getting regular exercise, and foster mom has put him on a new food that will help him lose weight.
Biscuit likes to sleep in his bed on the floor next to his foster mom and he attaches himself quickly as your best friend. The best part is he is totally house-trained! Biscuit has seen the vet for a well-dog visit and he passed with flying colors. Biscuit’s perfect home would be one where his people are home a lot since he always wants to be with you. If he is left alone, he gets anxious and is determined to go with you everywhere! Biscuit would also love to share his home with some well-behaved children – he loves children and loves to play. He enjoys rides in the car and walks on his leash, although he initially gets over-excited and you have to remind him to stay calm. He is leash-trained, but needs some reinforcement on leash manners since his surrendering owner was unable to correct his leash-pulling.
Biscuit is a very sweet and playful dog who would love an active family with children to keep him entertained. No cats though! Biscuit wants a forever home that doesn’t move around, as living in a car wasn't the best of homes for this sweet and loving boy. Might you be that person that can accept the huge amount of love he has to share?
