My name is Mackie! I unfortunately found myself picked up by the doggie police in Hallettsville, Texas for wandering around without a human to accompany me. Can't a girl chase butterflies without an escort? Anyway, my time at the shelter was up so they asked the rescue if they could help me find a forever home that would include humans that would go out butterfly chasing with me. I think that would be okay by me! I am a Schnorkie. That's a Yorkie/Miniature Schnauzer mix. I have been vaccinated and spayed and am ready to find a family that will love me and keep me forever! I am approximately two years old and I weigh 13 pounds. I get along with other dogs and they say that I have a sweet, calm personality. If you think you would like to go butterfly chasing with me, give them a shout and tell them Mackie sent you! I'll be waiting! **This dog is currently in her foster home in Houston, Texas.
